- Use chemistry as directed. Foam and pre-soak need sufficient dwell time, but should not be allowed to dry on hot panels.
- Agitate carefully if required. Shared bay brushes can contain grit. Inspect and rinse them before contact, or use your own wash media if facility rules allow.
- Rinse completely. Remove soap from crevices, mirrors, badges and lower sections.
- Dry appropriately. A clean drying towel or touchless air drying helps reduce water spotting.
Pressure-washing precautions
Pressure helps remove contamination without rubbing, but more pressure is not always better. Keep the nozzle moving and use additional distance around chipped paint, decals, sensors, cameras, weather seals and loose trim. Wheels and wheel wells may tolerate a different approach than painted body panels.
